God Opens and Closes doors
Major Ian Thomas (1914-2007) was a British evangelist who founded the Torchbearers International network of Bible schools in 1947. He established 23 Christian training centres worldwide and influenced thousands through his teaching and his books. Thomas wrote about an experience he had. He wrote “ eleven years ago, on the first journey that I made in Germany as a civilian after the war, to visit some of the young folk who had visited us in England from Germany, I was travelling along the Rhine from Cologne to Bad Godesberg. And as I was driving along the Rhine, I overtook a very weary, scruffy-looking boy. He was about fifteen or sixteen years of age. He was somewhat bedraggled. His clothes were obviously well worn.
